I don't think , therefore I ran

Feb0520103:46 p.m.

Mmmhh, it has been one of those weeks.

After my 14 mile run on monday I felt pretty proud and happy that I had my mojo back. Considering the last half marathon a few weeks earlier had felt so awful...

But come Tuesday morning, I felt a sore throat coming along and by the evening I was feeling miserable. It was luckily more a cold than a flu and within a few days I already felt considerably better...

today I was itching so badly to go running, after all I feel my regime as suffered considerably anyway through travelling etc... that I just went.

It was ok for the first 30 minutes, I took it very easy and had incredible amounts of tissues with me... but then I felt worse by the minute and stopped at 40 minutes. How depressing! The only nice thing was Hyde Park looking all pretty and sunny in the afternoon rush...

This year's training is definitely not going as smoothly as last years...

I wonder how bad it is to run with a cold? I heard that you shouldnt run with a fever or flu as there is potential for heart disease. Anyone know more?> It is that time of the year I guess.....

More training to do tomorrow, lets hope it gets better.

Happy Friday everyone, we celebrate in our office with cupcakes and coffee
