Olympics or bust?

Jan0620103:47 p.m.

Jana RawlinsonWhile the majority of have been freezing our tits off, an Australian was having hers removed to boost her chances of Olympic success.

Double world 400m hurdles champion Jana Rawlinson has had her breast implants removed in a bid to boost her medal hopes after believing her surgically enhanced bouncers were impacting on her on-track performance.

Now happy to be as flat as a pancake (her words, not mine) the 27-year-old is setting her sights on gold and also getting remarried to her ex husband, former British hurdler Chris Rawlinson.

You have to wonder how many other female athletes feel that being well endowed in the breast department has been holding back their athletic performance. More to the point, will any seriously consider a breast reduction of their natural beauties in an effort to perform better.

We could take this further and wonder, would Linford have run faster without carrying his excess lunchbox baggage? Will athletes start shaving parts off their body to make them lighter and better streamlined? Could surgically enhanced performance be an issue of the future?

The mind boogles, but if you gave me a choice between getting my hands on double Olympic gold or some double D's I might struggle to answer that one honestly.
