What have you lot been doing to this website. I can't see you for ads and other junk!
Anyway I was plodding around my 100th 5K ParkRun at Bushy Park the other week when i overtook, yes, over took, Mo Farah. I told him to take it easy as he had a big race the next weekend. Unfortunately he took it a bit too easy in the 10k but made up for it with Gold in the 5k. That's two chalked up now. Steve Redgrave in the FLM and Mo at Bushy Park. Who' next?!
Apart from the Bushy Park run every Saturday at 9.00am, incase you're interested, very little running. I am running the Windsor 1/2 in a few weeks which would have been great except I thought it was end of October...until my number arrived in the post today. 25 September and only 5 miles under my belt!
A certain young lady started school this week. I can't believe I first met you lot just after she was born. Where has that 4 years gone?
On February 17th I was sitting in Green Square (Now called Martyr Square) in Tripoli sipping a mint tea watching what I thought was fireworks and quite casually made my way to the airport to catch my flight home. Two days later ........... well you have all seen the news. Talk about a close shave. I am now catching up with friends and business aquintances one by one but many mobile phones are still off which is a worry and they had no internet for 6 months. I actually can't wait to get back out there. Whether you approve of our intervention or interference (delete where applicable) I have never seen and heard so many happy, smiling and proud people.
By the way when do we hear whether we have a place in the VLM 2012?

Sub 23 mins at Bushy Park yesterday. 22:57 to be precise. They had pacers this week so I managed to keep ahead of the 23 pacer all the way. Maybe not the best... -

Just a short blog as I'm supposed to be packing for Libya. Went up to the Expo on Friday but did noy see anyone, except Paula Ratcliife. Caught the boat back...
