Thoughts about getting near the end....

It had been a long day since the pre-dawn ramble -and we were getting near the end of the trek part of this adventure. It was also a reunion in that Sylvie and Joki had made it to here and met up with us. Sylvie looked in good form and had had her own adventures after our parting of the ways at Landruk - that had seemed ages ago now but in reality it had only been a few days. Joki also looked in good form too and seemed to enjoy the slightly different few days. I had the same thought as the last trek which was that it was interesting that our group would for these days go through some very intense and interesting experiences and then all of that bonding would fade soon afterwards in most cases and we would go back to our own lives -I guessed that was just the way it was and the nature of these experiences - that didn't make it any less meaningful of course and the memories would endure.Nothing is forgotten.....
