Steve Thompson is a rugby union great, and regarded by some as England's finest ever hooker. His appetite for the game was confirmed when he made a return to club rugby in November 2007, having previously quit following a neck injury.

After returning at CA Brive, the British Lion earned a recall to the England side, and remains in the frame for the foreseeable future. Unbeknown to many is the fact that Steve was once British Roller Blading Champion, but thankfully for his country, he ditched the skates in time to pursue rugby success.
