Not Quite Super Saturday.

You know what they say about the best laid plans.....as usual my plans never quite work out as I intend!
Yesterday was supposed to be Super Saturday! An hour in the gym followed by an hour(ish) swim with my mate....only I overslept and the swim never happened
. I did however get in the gym for half hour - and after my 2min jog to netball the other evening I decided that I would up my intervals to a 2min jog and 1min walk at 1.5% gradient. I was really pleased with myself that I managed to keep that interval rate up for 20mins!!! I know that to some that this might not seem like a big deal but for me it's another little personal victory and it's things like this that remind me that if I keep going I might actually make it round the Half without keeling over!!!!
Next week is going to be more organised all round so that I can fit my 3 planned training sessions in and make a much more concerted effort to pull the diet back out of the gutter!!
Oh, and before I go - I just want to say a quick thank you for the supportive comments on my last post...they helped drag my lazy butt out of bed and into the gym yesterday!!!
