I've not been logging my food here as I have been struggling to get the balance right, and it's been getting me down.  Writing it down only depresses me even more.

I'm not doing the level of exercise that I was a month ago so have had to cut back drastically on the amount I eat and nearly every day I have been 200 cals or more over

But at the weekend I weighed myself for the first time in about a month and I had lost about 3kg!  That officially brings me below the 80kg mark, and to the lightest I have been in over 6 years!

Maybe I will start logging again now that I am in a better frame of mind.  Not today though, too much else to be getting on with.

  • emmteeyess 'Brilliant result to be the lightest you've been for 6 years - stick with the programme! I havn't the willpower or patience to diet but I've upped my running a lot lately and made a concious effort to cut down on cakes/biscuits/ pastries etc. Was delighted to find that I can now comfortably wear a T shirt I got for my birthday, in June, without it looking like I have a wok stuffed up there.
