I really don't want to tempt fate but it is looking good for my swim going ahead on Monday:-) If it does it will be about a 5 am start. At least it will be light and all going well, I will finish before it gets dark!

Believe it or not I'm still arranging my support team! I have two for definate (Mike Pelling and Chris Pountney). Chris will stand in as my support swimmer if I'm desperate. Nick Adams may or may not be able to make it. Just now I've had a message from Will Sergi who I have never met but has kindly offered to be my support swimmer. I'm waiting to hear back to see if this is a possibility.

I had a good two hour swim in Dover today and had more advice/words of support from Freda which helped so much. I'm feeling quite confident right now. My family were able to make it as well and it was so nice to have my wife (Cherie) and three children (Scott, Sean and Phoebe) showing their support. I now just need to put the finishing touches on the arrangements before heading down to Dover again about 3 pm tomorrow.

I really hope so much it goes ahead this time!!
