With much soul searching and wishful thinking I have decided to pull out of this years FLM. In a nutshell I havent been able to train due to moving house and cannot fit in the training & time at the mo and would much rather someone who could put in the required effort, do it instead. Have carried forward application to next year. Hopefully start running again during the summer and intend to join Church Crookham running club - anyone know of it??(??) and pick it up from there. Good luck to all of you whatever your goals are - I'll be keeping an interested eye as to how you are all getting on - and hope you all keep injury free. Best wishes to you all

    • Hola 'That's a shame but probably wise. Why don't you keep the running going a bit and then it will be easier next year. You could still do the Fleet half - it's a good event and really popular. Although I lived in Fleet/Church Crookham for many years I don't know about the running club there. I know there is a club that meets up outside Hart Leisure Centre but don't know which one. Good luck.' added 28th Jan 2009
