Hello realbuzzers, we'd like to give you the heads up on another new tool we’ve added to the site – the realbuzz Scrapbook. We’ve been happy to see that some of you have already been making use of the Scrapbook, but for those of you who haven’t here is the lowdown on what it’s all about.

    realbuzz best bits

We’ve always loved seeing the variety of things people get up to on realbuzz, so we decided to design a tool that helps you bring all of your favourite realbuzz features together in one place.

    The realbuzz scrapbook

You can access your Scrapbook by clicking the ‘My Scrapbook’ button at the top of your My Buzz page, or by selecting the book icon at the top right of realbuzz next to the flag option. This tool allows you to easily gather together all of your realbuzz best bits and store them on one page. Look out for the Scrapbook button all over realbuzz to add scraps to your page – and we really do mean all over! You can add your favourite articles, interesting blog posts, your best running routes, upcoming events and much much more.

We wanted to make sure that your Scrapbook is as easy as possible to customise, so you’ll hopefully find that the page is quick and intuitive to manage. All of your scraps can be moved around and repositioned simply by dragging and dropping, and deleting or editing an entry can be done at the touch of a button. There are also a series of filters which let you select exactly what you want to see on your Scrapbook, allowing you to quickly find exactly what you are looking for.

    Sharing your scraps

Half the fun of filling up your Scrapbook is sharing it with other people. Other realbuzzers can check out your page, where they can comment on the content you’ve added, or even take it for their own Scrapbook. If you see a great scrap on someone else’s Scrapbook and you want to grab it for your own, simply press the double square icon next to the title of the scrap and it will be copied to your page.

If you’d prefer to keep your Scrapbook as a private place to store things, then that’s easy to do as well. Scrapbooks are public by default, but if you go onto the Account Settings section of your My Buzz page, then you will find the option to make it private. Simply untick this box and your Scrapbook will be for your eyes only.

So there you have it, the new realbuzz Scrapbook. Why not get started straight away and add this blog post as a scrap to test the waters? Don’t worry, we won’t be offended if you delete it to make room for other content. Honest…

    Until next time realbuzzers,

    The realbuzz team
