Hi,

I'm getting bigger and bigger now. Mr Creosote has nothing on me!!

Seriously though, I was a bit concerned as I don't seem to be as big as some other mums-to-be at the same week as me (week 30!!!!!) I saw the midwife on Thursday and she said the baby is growing nicely and seems like more of a 31 week baby than 30 weeks, so that was a relief.

I listened to his heartbeat again. It sounds just like a train - weird! My blood pressure is increasing so I am having weekly checks at the moment, in case it gets to a point where they need me to go to hospital. My ankles have been really puffed up, but I have had them up the past 2 days and they seem to be back to normal now, which I'm very pleased about - I was getting worried I was turning into an extra from Lord of the Rings!!!!

Hubby has been with me this week and I have been a bit stressed looking after him. He had an operation on his hand on Tuesday. The way he described it was like the snooker table scene from The Krays - and I thought women exaggerated!!!!! It does look nasty, but he's being a brave soldier and getting lots of pampering from me, as he pampers me a lot normally.

We went for a walk up to our local farm shop yesterday - only half an hour but I was glad to get back. The baby's head is lying on my bladder at the moment and I think he keeps headbutting it!!
