MARATHON OF THE NORTH SUNDERLAND.

Well yesterdays marathon was very tough day,weather was freezing and real windy for the marathon.The course is one of worst courses i have ran of 34 marathons but its local so still a good one.The race was mix of half mara,full mara and 10k with 10k setting off ten mins after the other two.My race went to plan to about mile 21 then the pain kicked in quads where in bits but just plodded on i finished in 3:28 so pretty respectable time in bad weather.I came 120th overall and am not sure yet in my age cat.Today legs are in bits but i still rode bike to work which was not fun really.Short term i got some bike races coming up and intend to ease off a bit on the long runs and do some local park runs.

Today was long run day so got weekend off to good start 18.5 miles ran in 2:45 nice easy pace of 8.59 min/mile and an average heart rate of 146 bpm well happy... -

Well busy few days since last blog,Tuesday was turbo sess 35 mins at 67% MAX.Not a bad short session Wednesday was good day 10 miles on road bike in 33.31 mins... -

Well no bother after 17 miler run on friday so sat biked a hilly 52 miler in 3hr 26 mins was 3000ft climbing so tough route.Sunday was day off and today... -

LONG SLOW RUN.
Well last night shift over the day only had 4hrs sleep but up and out for long run of just over 17 miles at 8.30 min/mile pace so good training run of 2:25...
