About Trip to the Gym
Today we had the opportunity to work with a trainer at Fort Sanders Health Club and learn how to use some of the equipment and what exercises would be good for runners to build our core strength. It was just what I needed since I am such a novice at all this and feel so intimidated when I walk into the gym I turn around and walk out. I feel a little more confident now that I can go into the gym and actually workout and look like I know what I am doing. Of course I really need to work on my flexiblilty which apparently I have none. It's like bending a piece of wood!! Baby steps, baby steps....but I will keep going.
