...it all seemed so easy with the 10k to aim for!
i'm thinking that I will enter next weekends city of manchester 10k. I don't imagine I will better my time as I haven't been keeping up the training, but would be good to be in another race.
And yes, there are of course the Alex Parks, the next one will clash with the 10k though, so will have to make a decision.
Some people suggested going cross country, or half marathon. I certainly don't feel up to either of those yet. But I do know there is a popular 10k CC in Heaton Park.
as for training....looked at the weather this eve and decided against the MFR Thursday run [here in MCR it was p-ing down]. So did another 30 mins on the treadmill. Again, nothing too exciting, but it did burn 380 calories!!!
I'm off doing Go-Ape this weekend! very excited....

TISM 'Hi Ange, good to hear from you again! I've found the trick is to always make sure i've got another race planned before i complete one. And think again about a half some time in the future, you'd have no trouble if you just gave yourself enough training programme.....' added 27th Jun 2008

AnneH 'Welcome back - and a belated well done for completing the 10k! Well done on getting on the tredmill and getting going again. Hope you get another run sorted - it does give the motivation a bit of a kick. Well done too on the diving. Have a good week.' added 27th Jun 2008
