Meatloaf
Saturday mornings mean violin lesson for DN1 and an opportunity for me to run in pastures new for an hour.
I think this is my favourite time of year to run - a stunning kent autumnal morning. Beautiful blue skies, lovely sunshine, cold but not too cold. Ideal. Did 55 mins, divided approx 60/40 on road/off road. Had road shoes on so struggled a bit on muddy hills made treacherous by damp leaves, and went over on my ankle once but no harm done and good fun. Got lost in a soft fruit farm but a nice Polish man set me back on route so all was well.
Have struggled this week with a touch ofpost egypt tummy which I havent mentioned lest it set Mike off on another runny pun fest. Havent eaten much and what I have eaten has...well , you can prob work it out for yourselves! It meant my legs felt like they were running on empty today. Pleased that I kept it going though and can only improve if I work hard. So referring to my previous post, whilst this run was short( 6 miles ) and hilly , it certainly couldnt be described as pacey. Which is were Meatloaf comes in.....
Have a good w/e everyone. C'mon England.
