Right you lovely experts......

Been out for a run and it was ok. I tend to leave the house in a certain direction and run for half of the time I would like to be out of the house for (today I went in one direction for 15 minutes) I then find a route heading in the direction of my house that is different to the one I came on.... if that makes any sense at all. Sometimes my route can be a little more long winded but it tends to work for me. The reason I do this is because I use Keiths suggestion of 'time on your feet' and this stops me obsessing about distance. I enjoy it and the fun of walking out my door and going 'I fancy going this way'.

I digress.... lungs and heart rate are fine. No huffing and puffing. Feels very comfortable and rhythmical. I had a twinge about twenty minutes in down the right front side of my leg. It was just quite uncomfortable. I couldn't quite shake it off and it actually felt worse when I stopped running and walked (I always walk after my run for about 1 to 2 minutes to shake myself out a bit)

It doesn't hurt now. Now, I think this goes back to an earlier post and I think it is to do with the fact I wore high heels for most of the day. For anyone not of the heel persuasion, this muscles is obviously contracting and expanding differently when I am in heels to when I am in trainers. Can anyone suggest any exercise, stretch etc that could help with this issue?
