Can someone please tie me to a chair next week??

Apr16201011:53 p.m.

People, I have to tell you, I have completed my last Friday night run Laughing

A few months ago, I was blogging in complete shock that I was running on a Friday night, however, now I actually enjoy it as a way to finish off the week.  The future of Friday night runs are at the moment teetering on the edge.  I had a VERY bad end to tonight's 8 miler (which for once I am going to keep to myself.... not like me!)  but I did love the run itself, as the sun was setting and the biggest cheer from the blokes sat in the beer garden at the Boating Lake - these moments need to be cherished, but post marathon, Friday nights are still in debate....

(Did I actually say post marathon?)  That time doesn't exist right?  According to my diary, life as I know it ends on Monday 26th April 2010!

So, I have just realised that this week I won't actually get a rest day?!  What happened there?  However, I am writing Thursday night off as rest day as I only did 3 and half miles running and ab work before deciding I was tired and I wanted to watch the Politician debate.

Weekly round up is:

Monday - Body Pump and 40 length swim

Tuesday - Teaching Body Conditioning and Body Balance

Wednesday - 8 mile run

Thursday - 3 and half mile run

Friday - 8 mile run

Sat (tomorrow) - teach LBT and attend Body Balance launch

Sunday - 10 mile run on the cards

Soooo, here is the thing..... I haven't yet got round to cutting down my eating habits, hence the exercise regime....

My plan for next week is to get someone to tie me to a chair and then I cannot eat, or exercise and I will be completely ready for the big one on Sunday!!!!  If I eat, I have to exercise, so my aim this week is to stop eating.... well at least until Thursday according to Simone and then I can fill my boots!!

Bad night tonight Frew - at least it is out the way xxx

  • Way_Too_Slow 'Simones post on carbo-loading was excellent wasn't it. Don't exercise too much this week, a couple of gentle little runs should do just to keep you ticking over. Take care, it's getting close!' added 17th Apr 2010

  • STUBLACK 'Ha, I thought that was your plan for next week, thought 8 miles two days before the marathon was a bit much, then I read it again. A couple of gentle runs this week would be fine. I'm planning for my last one to be on Wednesday before I eat every carb in reach. Hope you free ypurself from the chair before 25th, otherwise running will be difficult.' added 17th Apr 2010

Especially true today, on a day made for running! Take it steady, and put your feet up - Britain's Got Talent starts, after all!!' added 17th Apr 2010

  • Jenny1961 'I'm not running after next Weds! Just done my last 8 miles so just a couple of short runs next week on Tues and Weds. Its hard to not do anything when you are used to doing something! I will have to knock Ironman training on the head from Weds as well . But like gloshawk says - hey! Britain's Got Talents on tonight! And theres still time for liquid nourishment of the red antioxidant kind :)' added 17th Apr 2010
