Hiya folks,
After spending Sunday evening scaring myself silly that I had done real damage to my knee, following a few minutes of drama I pulled myself together and did a bit of research! I have given in and will lay off the running until Thursday night, when I have a scheduled 7 miles with a friend, and I am following some exercises to help strengthen the abbductor, hips and band which runs from the hip down to the outside of the knee.
Not being one to sit and do nothing, I managed my Body Pump and Body Balance classes last night with no problems and Tuesday is my teaching night so I will be rallying the lovely ladies along in Body Conditioning and a Core Pilates Class tonight!
Fingers crossed I can resume running as normal on Thursday..... it would have been such a nice night for it tonight too!
