glorious

today the weather was glorious, so i packed up the pram with mary and water and off we went to the craft fair and market.
Altogether we walked 11 miles, along country roads through fields and alongside busy roads, my legs now ache lol! Some of the villages we went through were lovely and we would never had been through them if it hadnt been for me doing the VLM. Mary is once again asleep after all the fresh air and i think she loved the journey too. We saw a horse do a massive dump and that made me walk even faster because unfortunatly we were down wind.
4miles an hour was my speed today which made me feel good, if i can get to 5 miles an hour then i wont be so scared about the distance of the marathon because i can always walk.
This weekend has been great and im so glad the weather was great today, good walking and after i had a brilliant roast dinner mmmm......

Keith_L 'Wow can you walk at 4mph with a push chair across country paths? thats pretty fast going. Many people dont run the VLM any faster than 5MPH so if you are planning to walk at that pace your running speed will be impressive :-)' added 19th Oct 2009
