I woke up this morning to the sound of rain tapping against my bedroom window. I looked out and long and behold; no snow in sight! Its been the first time in a while were percipitation has made me feel joyous. I can walk out of the house without the feeling that at any moment I would fall on my arse (and i've got 'snow' more snow jokes left...see).

Most importantly though, I can start street running again. I'm sure you've all been having the nightmare were your running but you don't seem to be moving; a wall in front of you that never seems to be getting any closer; a.k.a the treadmill. Well it's such a relief to be able to run again and to celebrate I decided to do an easy 4 mile run before my Sunday long run. It was a massively satisifying to finally be able to run again after 4 weeks of snow/ice.

Anyone else as happy as I am that were back to depressing grey rain clouds?
