Stair climbing
Hi!
I would like to tell you that this week I decided myself to add stair climbing to my training!
The building where I work has 6 floors. I decided to climb 5 floors at once for 6 times a day. Then I will increase my training to 5 floors 10 times a day! This will be 50 floors! Each flight of stairs has 24 stairs. I climb 5 floors in 2 minutes at normal speed, not too fast. If nobody sees me, I could run them!!!
I begun to search on the internet for tips and they say that 15 min of stair climbing is equivalnet of 30 minutes running. This is a good aerobic exercise, useful for leg muscles. I have always climbed stairs, but I did not think of considering it as a training. So I am decided to climb as many sets of 5 floors per day!
I also found out that there are international competitions of stairs climbing in high towers, etc.
