The Goal: Run 8 miles @ 8:47/mile pace.
The Result: Ran 8.0 miles in 1:08:26 at 8:33 mins/ mi.
The Splits: 8:19, 8:28, 8:30, 8:31, 8:23, 8:40, 8:52, 8:45.
Yes, finally. This is the point where the "step-back" week starts to pay off. I finally felt a little fresher, and I imagine I'll feel fresher through Week Thirteen. This was a nice run. I look forward to the days when runs are nice or fresh or fun, as opposed to feeling like a job or a grind, which is what they felt like in Weeks 11 and 12.
