man flu.  First run in 12 days because a microsopic virus that can turn a 20 stone athlete into a quivering wreck with a duvet pulled up to his chin pitifully demanding food drink anmd medication form an unsympathetic spouse and off spring.

So as a resulkt no running until last night when a 5.75 miler interspersed with coughing fits clearing all the mucus from the lungs seems to have worked a treat.  Slept like a log,  good coughing fit post run and ready for thursdays jogette with the AVR (If there is one - possibly moved location for tomorrow night as a spring special but need to check out where and when)

Good to see people are dragging themselves out still. (Well done Rod about time)(Shazz - to energetic for your own good and my conscience)

Chatsworth Golden Gate week on SUnday got number and chip.  Pick up t-shirt on day - full race so thats 900 runners let's hope for drizzle or a fine mist at least.

More importantly however thre's a trip to Wembley on Monday for a bit of a football match where the best team in yorkshire will hopefully be restored to the Premier League.  Fingers crossed.

Beautiful Down town Bramall Lane (BDTBL) - used to double as a cricket pitch in the Summer and has hosted a test match
