What a run and a first aswell.

May0820092:15 p.m.

Out with the AVR last night and what a run.  You know how you think you know the route you are taking and so you get set for it.  ie where the hills are, where to speed up, how far left to go etc.  Well last night thye kept changing the route as we went along.  So ended up doing 10.5km just over an hour but first 3mile went:-

9min 15 ish

10mins 20 ish

11mins something (end of big hill and had to walk for a bit)

LAst 3 miles were all sub 8min 30 sec miles.  NOw it was predominantly level and downhill but still at one point nearly bwent sub 8 mins.  And right at the end they throw in the steps (approx 30 wide steps up a gennel)

Legs this morning really aching and stiff but really enjoyed it.  If it carries on like this I'll be smashing 2 hours for the GNR and hopefully shedding a few surplus pounds in the process.

Keep on running.

Matt
