Tough day on the roads...

Tough 10 miler today, legs feeling really heavy from the 9 miles run on Tues. I suppose it didn't really help that played a footy game earlier today before running. But throughout my build up I haven't been able to give up playing other sports Footy, cycling, Squash. Some may say that a variety of physical activities is good... but i find you end up using and straining other parts of your body.
Day off tomoz, calves still tight, i keep saying ill invest in a propper masage, but have you ever heard Radio's 1 Chris Moyles when he's on the "Table of Pain" lol Can anyone tell me... does it really work, is it worth enduring the obvious pain involved??

Misshiggi73 'I could not have got thro my training without them!!! I wouldn liken it to the table of pain yes there are moments when you think i pay for this infliction but my sports massage highlighted my torn piriformis muscle, that now has me seeing an osteo if it hadnt i would be in real trouble now. I actually have my last one booked for Monday to free everthing up for the last week so I say if you can get one in!!! Good luck. ;-)' added 16th Apr 2010
