Into Right Dragon - but with the hands here...

...that's better. Remember to get a wider distance between the feet for your Cat Stances - bring your foot round to here, like this...

We've now got 4 classes up to the end of the form (all 140 moves) - and as I said last time - when they ask what comes next we (joke) that they now go back and do it properly! They all know there's bits they forget and bits they need to refine (we all need that) and Mrs.MTS goes into much more detail and tries to pull everyone out of their bad poor stances into the correct positions.
We know this will help their form to flow more and move their Chi energy round better, and they'll get more from it.
As Chee Soo tells us - 'Having started, keep on, for there is no end to the road in front of you'
There's also all the other disciplines - sword, stick etc. - (which I rarely get to do as we concentrate on the form when I'm there to help).
Whispered - I must say - and it's not very PC or T'ai Chi orientated - but I wish we could use one of the sticks to wrap the student's knuckles, elbows, knees and feet if they're not in the right position - THEN they'd learn (!). OR stop coming I suppose.
(Our son's Kung Fu sifu/sensei used to do that to toughen them up and he reckoned it did concentrate the mind! But that was a combat martial art and being tough was part of it, I guess.)
Other than that - there have been a few classes lately that only have 1 group in them (either thru drop outs or just absences) and it's really great to all do the same form to the same level, plus I don't have to teach and can pick up corrections too.
So - where was I - Into Right Dragon - but with my hands here...get a wider distance between my feet for my Cat Stances - bring my foot round to here, like this...
Cheers, MTS
