Day one

OK so now I've committed this for all the world to see I had better carry it out.
I haven't done any form of serious fitness for far too long, we used to live in the city we both worked in the hotel trade, me as accountant OH as Head Chef, I was member of a gym and used to go at least 4 times a week, doing a bit of running/rowing machines - not too good with the weights - and finishing off with an hour in the pool.
Circumstances dictated that we moved into the countryside and money became a bit tight and the nearest gym was 20+miles away any way, so the fitness dropped and the weight started to increase.
This needs to change, I have a milestone birthay in 2012 and want to be arround to celebrate it.
I'm not going to rush out and buy expensive running stuff, my trainers and trackies will do for now, I will be home from work at 5.15 and intend to be on the field by 5.20.
I am hoping that OH will be supportive and understand that much as I love all his cooking it needs to change for me ! we are growing loads of veg/salads in our garden and soon will be harvesting.
The main thing I need to do is seriously cut down on the white wine, so the un-opened bottle needs to stay in the fridge.
Not sure how this blogging thing works so apologies if I have done it wrong ! me and technology are not particularly good friends.
