still running by frans

well hi there , longish time no speak I know.

Im still running, well mostly, feet up for a few days with leg pain, appart from that alls good.

Just entered the stur half , it should be good fun , just down the road from me and my friend is running too, yay.

been training for a sub 2 , its going okay its quite fast for me but am managing to up my pace almost every run, am even liking the hill work, so need to do that for this race, undulating countryside mmmmmmm great big hills more like.

rest from running didnt stop me getting out there in the sunshine today, it was lovely, got on my bike and did a little under 20 miles, stopped for lunch half way so it was all very gentle and civilised. This has got me thinking mind..... my bike is old heavy so not a road bike and well clapped out is a word so on the way home popped into the local bike shop and have fallen for a lovely white,yellow and silver road bike, even found myself talking in terms of triathlon, I know its a litte rash but hey you only live once, I havent bought it yet but it could be mine for less than my gym membership so its looking like a big possibility. Going to run the bike by a friend that knows more than me about such things but im well excited.
