Ok,so I have a Golden Bond place for the Virgin London Marathon 2010!! Yipee!!

Im raising money for LOOK which helps kids with visual impairments and will be donning a fancy dress of sorts to help me along the way. I was unlucky in the 2000 ballot and have always wanted to do a Marathon.....and its taken 10 years!

Im looking forward to the training although it's been a while since the running. Was always fit until children came along so the challenge should be fun!!

Hopefully this blog will keep me motivated!

Oh gosh! Don't want to cross you! Are you cross training whilst not running? You were doing so well before. What's hapened to the knee? Is it something we can help you with?

Oh no this is a shame so hard to juggle life with running and especially if you are injured also. I would be so frustrated and it sounds like you are. I hope your knee gets better and I am sure if it does your general outlook on the whole experience will improve and the kids won't drive you mad anymore, it is tough though the time needed for training and hard to combine a hectic life with running.. I say a big glass of wine is needed here...

I know the feeling, as I run on a morning, I find the times I get stressed are when the kids don't sleep, as that then prevents training. You have my sympathies, especially with an injury to boot! Keep us updated on the knee, and keep your chin up! I agree with the glass of wine idea also!!
