Target is reached! Hurrah!

Happy days.
Today I broke the £1300 barrier -my target. I am so pleased! Still spending the last weeks catching up with the slow coaches lol.
Tapering is a strange concept. The fact that I went out for a run on Sunday and still had a good few hours left in the day afterwards was a bizarre feeling! I sat in the sun and relaxed..grand.
I've been trying out my Charity running top. I must admit that I did have to slit it up the sides a bit as Easter Egg-itis causes swelling of the hip region and it didn't fit properly- well it fitted but "The London Marathon "bit was scrunched up at the bottom and I wanted folk to be able to read it on my practise runs lol
Was a lovely sunny and hot day consisting of rotting deer, dead rabbits,2 skeletons and a dead fox. I just love country roads! the wildlife doesnt.
Had my own private cheer squad as I arrived home as my neighbour applauded me as I ran back to my house.
I'm getting lots of Good luck messages as well now- it is really adding to the excitment.
I leave for London next Thursday night and in that time I need a haircut, a relaxing massage and I need to turn 35! Gulp...but that is tomorrow! I'm a bad one for leaving things to the last minute so this weekend I really must make a little list of must do-s.!!
Got a couple of runs this week and getting the BIG DAY outfit ready.
Also wanted to say "Hello" to Rachel who bumped into my cousin last weekend. Rachel is also running London for LOOK and her daughter's photos are on our running tops. Hopefully we can all meet up after the miles and get a photo! x
Happy running everyone. x

I'll be running at the back also so will look out for the woman in a tutu, with slits in her running top, I had to do the same to mine lol. Hope we can meet up at the end.
