Well a over a week since last blog - I have kept up with my healthy(er) living! No cakes, sweets, chocolates or anything else that has been left over from Xmas or laying about at work - so have been pretty healthy!

Exercise I am getting back into it and slowly losing the excess weight from Xmas. I done 6 hours totally last week, and went to  2 classes of BMF (British Military Fitness) - for those of you that don't know this is taken in my local park (they have them all around the country) taken by acting or previous marines. Found here http://www.britmilfit.com/about-bmf/bmf-news/ Split into 3 groups, Green(top), Red (middle) Blue bottom.

The session is for an hour and  you do all sort of running exercises, sprint, press ups, burpees and anything else they can think of. Normally really muddy as they have you down in the mud, but you work really hard and are sociable (when you can get your breath) and motivating. I did Saturdays class in the red group (my normal) and found it hard since I did it before Xmas with having almost 3 weeks from doing a class. Sunday did a red class again, but as not as many greens some of the quicker reds (me alledgedly!!) and this almost killed me, by the end of the class I felt quite sick and hardly had enough energy to take a step more!! (I suppose its all meant to be good though!)

This week have had 3 runs at the gym, about 4 miles each lunctime, and some work at home each evening- either on the Turbo or some weights so all in all ticking over!

Hope you have all started the new year well
