Insomniac hopeful 2012 VLM'er

Hi peeps, I thought I'd get back in the groove again so I've completed me 2012 online VLM application and now have a reason to blow the dust of my trainers and go bothering the pavements. Apparently last year's ballot was open only for about 24hrs so if you're thinking . . . you'd better act pronto.
I watched a good deal of the marathon on the telly last week. Had to wipe my eyes now and then. So emotional, even though I wasn't running this year. Hats off to the lot of you who made it to the starting line, and the finishing line. Reading your reports has been fun.
So, I hope to get to know you all again these next few months. Hopefully get to make some new online chums.

Mrs_Old_Bird 'Good luck, Graham. I'm waiting for my email link to re-apply as I had to withdraw from VLM 2011. As well as blowing the dust off, check for spiders - nothing worse than trying to run with a squished spider in your shoe. Yuk!!' added 26th Apr 2011
