So.. went for what I hoped to be a 5 mile run just after my last post, and failed dismally. Warm up was as good as usual, but within a couple of minutes of starting out I had pain in both calves, my shoulder was sore, and I felt much more tired than normal. Not sure why. Managed to make it twice round the college, but didn't enjoy it much.
Then there was the enforced Glastonbury break, although to be honest I probably walked about 5 miles a day there, the site is absolutely huge. Got back on Monday and intended to run last night (Weds), but unfortunately I've come down with some serious food poisoning and there's no way I can even eat anything let alone think about running for probably the next week. So there will be a small hiatus during which I shall feel sorry for myself and look longingly at sandwiches.

hashbridge 'Thanks for the support guys, feeling much better today. Hopefully able to start running again on Monday. As for the cross training at Glasto, carting a suitcase full of beers across the whole site (top east corner down to south west) in 28 degrees on the Wednesday was pretty intense.
