this morning I made it in to double figures, I did a whole 10 miles!! I can't say i ran the whole ten but I did a significant amount of distance was running - I'm getting a lot better at what I can run before i have to walk for a few minutes.
it was hard going as it was so windy, battered by cross winds and straight in the face winds, so strong at times hard to breathe!!
plugged my garmin to garmin connect to see the added bonus of burning more than 1000 callories!! result!
at the moment it looks like i'm on target for about a 5 hour marathon - thats if the weather behaves and its not as hot as last year!
working in Basel, Switzerland most of next week but will be bringing my running gear with me, hotel has a gym or if the weather is ok i'll have a wee run along the Rhine.
