Getting Very Nervous Now
Apr192010noon
Ive managed 8 days of no alcohol, only 6 to go :-) and im feeling better for it but know I wont be able to resist a pint of cider after the marathon on SUNDAY.
Im having palpitations about the race, not actually running it as ive run a few before but more picking up the number and getting to the start. Also, my mate Ladies Captain did a stormer of a race at Blackpool 3:40:57 and beat my PB by 25 seconds so I soooo want to beat hers but I know that London is not a great place to get a PB but Im hoping, with being in the Green Start (only circa 3,000 runners) I should be able to get out and run without hindrance quickly enough.
Ive never been this nervous, if I carry on I will burn all my energy off before Sunday.
Good Luck to all those running at London and well done to all those that run at Brighton and at Blackpool recently

I'm jealous I wanted to be in the green with Nell McAndrew (purely for scientific reasons of course)' added 21st Apr 2010

Dim 'Have a great day on Sunday Hever. As said above, it is your duty to drink that cider - do you know how much work is put into growing all of those apples and converting them all into that lovely sparkling golden liquid? It would be an insult to all those hard working people and besides look how much tax the government would lose.' added 23rd Apr 2010
