Mid Week Catchup
Monday I did a nice relaxed run with Payless, Coach Senior and Coach Junior, putting the world to rights etc etc. 6.5 miles done and dusted.
Tuesday was mile reps and I was hoping to improve on my times that I did a few weeks ago. I didnt improve per se but I did 6 of the blighters rather than 5 of them and still felt OK at the end. I wanted all under 7:30mm and apart from the first one they all were, so consistent. 9.5 miles with recovery and warm up/cool down.
Tonight ive just got a gentle 45min run and then tomorrow 6miles at marathon pace (with 1m warm up and cool down) then Fri rest day, Sat gentle run to keep legs loose for the Kilomathon.
Kilomathon Sun- I must admit, if I had know that we have to be in our pens by 8:15, that parking would be a nightmare and getting back would be even worse, then I probably wouldnt have entered (ive even heard that the person who designed the route did it on google earth and lives in scotland!!!) it but its the first of its kind and Payless has offered to drive me there and Hubby is picking me up afterwards so I think its all sorted.
