Race for Life

Jul10201210:54 a.m.

Well the ankle is pretty much better, but I am still taking it steady. I did Race for Life on Sunday with my daughter which was great fun as always. It is so amazing seeing all the people there doing their bit and having fun. Race for life must have had a massive impact on women’s running over the years it has been going. I think it really encourages people to give running ago and not be embarrassed what speed you run.

I am starting to think  about my half marathon training now and am quite excited about it.

  • Rob_Barber 'Fully agree - Race For Life is fantastic - though I can't understand why my wife, having done 2 and thoroughly enjoyed them, has slipped into doing less exercise than she ever did. Her mum on the other hand has stuck with exercise, she's taken up yoga, regularly walks the dog which she didn't do before (can get away with it here 'cause there's fields for the dogs to run around in), and runs when they go on their holidays, and she's vocal about the benefits. good to hear you're excited about the 1/2.' added 10th Jul 2012
