OOHHH Nice new shiny shoes!
They came! They came! THEY CAME!!! Finally I have a nice new shiny pair of VFF, they are not the ones Ioriginally ordered back in Feb as there has been a manufacturing problem with that style but my second choice ones have come! SSSOOOOOO happy! I was getting worried that i wouldnt have themby Marathon day. They came in yesterdays post so I gave them a whizz at running club and they are LUSH! They also look a little more girly and not so apeish compared to my black classic ones! WWAAHHHOOO! Very excited about my lunch time run today! Running last night was tough, everyone seemed to be going at a million miles per hour and mine and my running buddies legs just werent up for it but as I had my new trainiers on I was happy to just plod at the back with a nice steady slightly faster than usual pace.
Oh I also finally managed to watch Eddie Izard Marathon man last night! I actually love that man! If he can run that amount of marathons then why am I fretting about this ONE! That has kind of knocked some sence into me and made me realise that even if i walk some of the maraton its great that im doing it for such a worthy cause! I think everyone should do 1 marathon in thier life to help them realise that running a marathon is nothing compaired to what some people and children have to battle with each day.

Suziewee 'Well said! Eddie is a true inspiration, slow he may have been but running that many marathons back to back is awesome. I cannot wait to join the marathon club! Thinking about his achievement will inspire me to get out for my lsr this weekend.' added 19th Mar 2010
