Silverstone half and blood blisters what a day!

I HAVE DONE IT! I HAVE DONE IT! Im so proud of myself! I completed the very windy Silverstone Half marathon and felt great!!!! Im so chuffed right now! I was aiming for 2.30 due to being ill before hand putting my training on hold but i shashed that and did it in just under 2.20!!! Im so proud right now if i could walk properly i would do a little victory dance! The only down side is i have a blood bliser as long as my thumb and as wide as a 2pence peice on the ball of my foot and also one on the end of my toe! Their not too painfull at the moment but im really worried about them popping. I have heard the can turn very nasty very quickly. Any advice? I want to train tomorrow but worried this might agravate them?
Well i should probally do some work now
happy running all! And well done to everyone that was at Silverstone!

Lance it, clean it and get soe compeed plasters on the blighters. they should be dried out in a couple of days at which point you can begin to treat them with surgical spirit to harden them off then you start to file and moisturise them after that. an so spake the blister doctor. You're welcome :0)' added 15th Mar 2010
