Is this a taper?

Apr05200812:55 a.m.

I've been walking in Wiltshire and West Berks the last two days. This isn't part of any marathon training but was part of a well-needed Easter holiday break. I hope it won't do my preparation any harm, but the walks themselves were very enjoyable and the scenery very impressive.  The Ridgeway itself isn't that exciting, though some of the views are spectacular. The paths around them were more interesting and today's walk improved greatly when the fog lifted and we were in racehorse country just north of Lambourn. The various gallops seem to go for ever. We did see a few racehorses, but they were not as attractive as the two litters of piglets at the entrance to Down Barn Farm.

The main problem at the moment is not eating too much rubbish. I am going on a strict diet for the next 3 days, in the hope that I can curb the double chocolate muffins.
