What a party! ...and over £500 towards fundraising.
Last Friday's Marathon Man Dinner Dance at S.T.F.C. Pro Star Stadium was a huge success, with over £500 raised towards my target of £1,400+ for Sense.
As a 60th birthday celebration it was the best yet, with 60 of my friends and family enjoying good food and wine, and dancing to a live band and disco until 1 a.m.
Everyone had a fabulous time, as the photos show:

I had a rest day the following day, as scheduled, before the Sunday long run of 110 mins. Took it steady and kept on - road (pavements), lots of hilly sections to test my stamina, and came back via my favourite riverside route. Struggled a bit with the hills mainly due to tubes still conjested but didn't harm to take walking/drinks breaks.
Legs are suffering today but overall feel great.
Rest day today then 20 mins steady tomorrow. Working in Surrey again and staying with my daughter in Horsham, Sussex - sleeping in grandson's room.
Getting colder and today had a few wintry showers, so wrapping up well to keep warm - hat, gloves and about 4 layers!
Keep on shuffling!
