help hurt shin

Anyone out there that can help me. the more i run the more i get a swelling on the lower shin its doing my head in. and stopping me getting on with the training that i am enjoying so much. not to mention the weight i am loosing as a by product of my training

pelican 'sounds like a shin splint which could be taped up before running but go doc and get proffesional advice. Nothing worse than a willing heart but body giving up.' added 11th Dec 2008

simonedumergue 'I'm a big fan of nipping things in the bud with a visit to a physio early on and getting to the bottom of it. I had a major issue with my heel and it has all resolved now due to good physio treatment and a rehab plan. (Sounds like a shin splint which I've had too!) Good luck!' added 12th Dec 2008
