God has given me another year to run! Last year I only was able to run the last half of Chicago since I was in the middle of chemotherapy. I was honored to jump in and run with my friend Staci and we finished together--she qualified for Boston!
My ONLY goal for Chicago is to complete the entire race this year. I celebrated one year of survival on August 15th--I have stage 4 stomach cancer. Every day God gives me I am grateful for! I am a living miracle!

You need to login to subscribe.I woke up with out body aches or a headache! I'm relieved. My stomach is still a little queezy, but I can just take metamucil for that. I will make sure I bring my miniature medicine cabinet with me this afternoon when we head to Chicago.
Maybe we'll see some familiar faces at the ACS dinner tonight at the Hilton?
