Look Good, Run Good.... by jamieB

Hello!  The first big thing is that I've managed to get Ron to wear his thights.  I ran behind him today and he was looking good.  If we are fit to run tomorrow lunchtime, then we are both going commando under the tights.  I also ran with my boss today...

He's in his 50's and was a sub-2 hour, half marathoner with a best of 1:45.  He still plays a bit of football and also runs although he's coming back from a calf injury.  Two laps, although my boss returned to base after lap one with a stiff calf.  Ron felt better today but we took it very easy with 6.35km in 35 minutes.  I want to go faster but am happy to do the miles and help my mate get better.  He's improving and I think he'll have a decent run at High Legh...

Andy mentioned 7 weeks until that half marathon we've signed up for.  I plan to get serious over the next couple of weeks but this weekend may be on hold because of the party I'm attending tomorrow night at MUFC.  I'm starting drinking at about 2pm tomorrow in Manchester and I think I'll be f*&%ed for most of the weekend.  Promised Ron a run tomorrow lunch but he's not going to the do so he might feel better on Saturday...

Went snowboarding last night and had a couple of crashes.  Really enjoying it and would recommend a visit to the Chill-FactorE if you live round our way.  Got a skate session with work on the 17th and still trying to shift the Little Boots ticket if anyone fancies a night out with me?  Back to the snowboarding, I did spend time running up the hill and my teacher was surprised at my fitness(?)...

Anyway, very random tonight - did 5.25km with Ron yesterday - but finding it hard to find things to blog about because I've told it you all before.  Nerves okay last two days and last night at snowboarding - just being myself and not worrying what people think I look like...
