2 Weeks and counting!

May0920104:46 p.m.

This has been a nice steady week, however my leg was worrying me, did a 7 mile run on Tuesday morning which should have been an 8, but my leg was still uncomfortable, so I booked in with the club physio - what a god send! Never needed to see a sport physio etc before so wasn't sure what to expect, she did a full assessment put me through a few movements etc and diagnosed a minor strain, gave me a good massage and reassured me I could still run, it was definately in my favour that I had reached taper! So have continued to run and maintain the milage in my schedule, completing the 15 miles today! Without any problems!

It's such a nice feeling to know the milage is going to further reduce and I don't need to be out until 6am, the 5am starts have been very tiring. I have also found a gel that doesn't give me chronic stomach ache while I am running I have tried them all!

So here we go counting the days!
