Hello again everyone
Jan21201012:46 p.m.
Sorry I haven't blogged for so long but I have been a lazy so and so. To be blunt I haven't run too much after the GNR last September because of a niggle in my groin. I have mainly cycled about three times a week but I have been eating badly again so I have piled a few pounds on. Three weeks ago (after the seasons festivities) I weighed myself and I came in at 17st exactly. I was pretty disgusted with myself to say the least. In the summer of 2008 I went from 18st 7lb stone to 14st 11lb at my lightest and felt brilliant. Putting 2st back on has seriously affected my running and my self esteem. I have lost 4lb though in two weeks and hope to have shed a couple more when I weigh in tomorrow. I am back running most nights but the most I am managing at the moment is around 2.5 to 3 miles around a hilly circuit in Ross on Wye where I am working at the moment but every time I go out I feel better and fitter so another month or two I hope to be a good bit lighter and a lot fitter as well. I have been reading quite a few blogs and have commented on a few. Hopefully with everybody's support I should be up to speed for the Great Manchester Run on the 16th May and hopefully look at a PB for that. Now I am away from home all week again I should get a bit more time to train and blog.
