RUN FIVE: SATURDAY 18TH JULY 2009

Again, I so didnt want to do this morning, but like last week - i deliberately set my alarm clock for 515 so i could get up, have a cup of coffee with full caffine to wake me up and head on out. I didnt have a good night last night either as i was babysitting and the baby was crying continuously for almost two hours and not even my attempt at singing brought a smile on her face.
I really didnt fancy it today, but to be honest i dont really fancy it any day and i question why indeed i do it and book holidays away to do marathons in other countries. I guess its because i can and i so couldnt before. The first couple of miles were tough, my arm and legs were still giving me severe grief from Wednesday but it was kind of sunny so that was cool.
Anothe prime reason for my fitness regime is to look good again, because to be quite honest i so dont at the moment, i feel old and look old - just look at the pictures. That is so not how i want to look and i hope this is just temporary, just look at the hair - dry - greyee - yuk!!! I was 12 stone 10lb yesterday, just 2lb down on last week but i did eat some naughties this week despite training every day and twice on Wednesday. I need to get hair cut but i want to get it done properly to conincide when (if ever) i return to my ideal weight so that i can start wearing my new clothes. I started buying them in March this year but they were all in smaller sizes, i thought that might be good motivation too for me to lose the weight - as well as spending over £400 on a marathon weekend.
As in London 07 and Berlin 08, i put together a scrapbook of the weekend, and i looked at the Berlin one last night and i did look a whole lot trimmer and fit for the weight, but i still have three months until venice so plenty of time. That is also by the way why im adding pictures on here this year and holding up my fingers to mark the week number, but im gonna struggle next week as the camera is in my other hand. Not sure at the moment how im gonna show week 6 and above next week, that is if i keep going, but I Must keep going. I have booked a fortnight off in September which is good, especially if i can hit my target weight by then, and it breaks the training up a little, so i can pick it back up after leave in the final four weeks/month before Venice.
