todays scales showed a 4kg weight loss.

I walked 3.2 miles in my lunch hour today. I have been walking daily for 2 weeks. Today the muscles around my shins were very tight for the first mile but I guess a sports massage is needed?

I am feeling very good and positive about this training. I am inspired to train and to lose weight and generally get fit.

  • kazsmiffy 'Hi John, no I'm in my runners lol. I think it maybe just from lack of exercise but it was painful and I almost turned back. Darren is fine. He has started training too. Although he didn't get a place, I think he has his eye on one of the other marathons! I think he has updated his blog recently??' added 15th Oct 2010
