Currently in sunny Boston attneding the Continua summit (Continua is a consortium dedicated to reducting health care spend and connecting health and fitness devices in a sensible way for home monitoring and prevention).
This is the first conference I've been to where the organisers arranged a run for the delegates - unfortunately at 6am in the morning! The run was meant to be 8k and carrying an injury from tri traning last week sounded quite good. The only problem was I dont know Boston, having not been here before, but also that my running partner from Panasonic did not either. Needless to say we got lost and according to a combination of my Nike+ system and his Polar system we covered just under 17K!
The moral of he story is make sure you know your route in a strange city!!!
Did a short 3.2k running morning by myself in the darkness of 6.30am - this time I did not get lost!
