Finnished!

Apr2520104:15 p.m.

What a day! The support from the crowds were awesome all the way round! I have never ate so many jelly babies or low fived so many people. I will definately be out there with a big bag of jellies next year to help support next years runners. The experience was very humbling with so many people raising money for worthy causes and so many people lining the streets to give support. Having my name on my top was great as so many peopel shouted "come on Karen!". These shouts really lifted my spirits.

I ran with and spoke to some great people including Dick and Dom off of the telly! Great guys raisign money for Myeloma UK and Alzheimer's Society

I have been raising money for Herts Air Ambulance: http://www.justgiving.com/Karen-Parnell1

My top tips are put your name on your top - the shouts from the crowd will hlep you round - especailly in the last 3 miles! Use compeed plasters before the race on places you know you will get blisters. I did and I'm blister free!

Well done to everyone who ran, sponsored people who ran and supported the runners on the whole route!

Karen
